The VE TPU is a heavy-duty, truck-mounted multi-purpose drilling rig built for large-scale operations. Designed on a double truck frame (Ashok Leyland 2820/2825), it combines drilling capability with integrated compressor, mud pump, welding machine, and manual rod changing system.

With a maximum drilling depth of 9800 mm and horizontal reach up to 1000 mm, the VE TPU also features a capacity of 15 tons. It includes a genset unit (40–120 kVA) and winch options of 5, 7, and 10 tons, making it suitable for deep water well drilling and industrial projects requiring multifunctional utility in a single unit.
